ERDOGAN AND PUTIN MET ON BLACK SEA COAST

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin met in the coastal city of Sochi on Saturday afternoon, May 16th, taking up extending bilateral relations.

Meeting 5th time in the last 8 years, prime ministers made statements before the press at Riviera Palace.

Turkish Prime Minister Erdoğan expressed his pleasure concerning his counterpart’s invitation to the Black Sea coast, saying that bilateral relations have extended significantly for the last 6 years. Trade volume between Turkey and Russia has extended to $35 billion as of 2008. Erdoğan said further that tourism bridges peoples of the two countries.
